The Cultural Art Society Digitron, started within the factory, had a photo-cinema, folklore, visual-drama, and tamburitza sections, as well as a mixed choir. In addition, Digitron regularly sponsored the Buje Grape Festival, the music festival Melodies of Istria and Kvarner, and the Miss Istria pageant for many years.

Sports in Buje also thrived thanks to Digitron, so there were football club Digitron and handball club Digitron with both male and female teams, and in addition to regular activities in workers' sports events, shooting and chess were also supported.
Digitron and Basketball
Digitron was a sponsor of the Yugoslav Basketball Player of the Year award organized by Sportske novosti from 1968 to 1975. The Digitron Trophy was awarded to Ćosić twice, and once each to Skansi, Plećaš, Šolman, Kićanović, and Gjergja.

Additionally, in collaboration with Sportske novosti in 1972, the Digitron Cup basketball tournament was organized, featuring the national teams of Yugoslavia and West Germany, as well as Zagreb's Lokomotiva and Italian Snaidero.
